THE LOVE KILLING When a woman is murdered and beheaded, Batman and Catwoman investigate the case separately as they grow distant with each passing day. Having located the most likely suspect, Batman becomes obsessed with capturing the killer, but there is no solid evidence to capture him. Furthermore, Jason Todd has neglected his work as Robin because of his new girlfriend, forcing Batman to become a loner once again. Days pass and the killer, who stole the head of his victim once she was beheaded, starts a process to shrink the head, all this while Batman is conflicted and suspects that Catwoman has forgotten her love for him. True to his deductions, there is someone else in Catwoman's life, but it is a black panther, which requires her attention and there is no place for Batman in her life. DEATH BY MISADVENTURE Green Arrow is unable to stop the hoods from killing Steelclaw, but does prevent them from hurting Black Canary. Elsewhere, Tommy demands Onyx tell her what she has come to Star City for, despite her reluctance to involve him in her operation.
